Asus – VR Racing shoot

The challenge was to produce broadcast quality commercials promoting an Asus laptop (S17) using a recognised personality.

Our Solution

With former F1 World Champion, Jenson Button, we produced a series of videos of him racing Silverstone (the weekend of the British GP) on a full-motion sim-rig with VR. Every part of the sim-rig and all the displays were powered entirely from the laptop.

The videos were shot on site at Alconbury Weald, only a few hundred yards from our home studio, using an aircraft hanger to create the right atmosphere and sense of space.
